•Cicim Woven Pillow Face is prepared with forged felt needle punching technique. Anatolian women living in cities, known as Bâcıyân-ı Rûm, settled in villages as a result of the pressures of the Mongols and taught the village people various motifs used in carpets and kilims. Cicim motif and models are thought to be one of them. It is thought that the work was touched in the settlements around Sivrihisar. The work is in the “Yörük” Special Collection, in Germany.
